Memory Tree Social Club

The Memory Tree Social Club meets every week on a Wednesday in the Hook Room from 10.30am to 12.00pm.  It is an opportunity for people diagnosed with Alzheimers and other types of dementia and their carers, to relax, enjoy themselves and make new friends.  We have a wonderful team of volunteers who look after our visitors with love, kindness and laughter.  We have an average of 25-30 visitors every week, and their feedback is that we provide a unique and special place where they can relax and talk to other carers and people with dementia.

Members of Memory Tree described Memory Tree to be a safe space to share experience about Alzheimers and dementia. Members feel supported, feel like they are all in the same boat but different journey and enjoy socialising.

The volunteers and helpers  are very appericated by everyone in Memory Tree!
